Good day everyone. I think everyone already knows about the imminent release of the game “Inside” (from the creators of Limbo). And today I will try to tell you a little about the future project of the Playdead studio.
To begin with, I’ll explain that previews are written on the basis of official videos about the game from the developers, as well as with the help of let’s plays (at least sometimes they are needed). So let’s begin.

Our hero is often chased and accompanied by such music that you clench your teeth from tension.Despite the fact that colors have appeared in the game, it is simply impossible to call the atmosphere in it at least somewhat “friendly”. A constant feeling of persecution and a complete lack of understanding of what is happening does not allow you to get bored and relax. Like Limbo, the game asks the player too many questions that it is slow to answer. People wear some kind of masks, someone is driving them, everyone is going somewhere, forming a huge queue, dead cattle encountered on the road – all this causes only one reaction: “What is happening here?”. ».
The world around the main character is so strange and incomprehensible that it’s not only difficult to understand it, it’s difficult to build theories about it. So for those who are looking for new impressions of the setting and atmosphere, “Inside” is a must-read.
On this note, I think we can finish the story about the setting and atmosphere in general and move on to the riddles and the gameplay itself. I divided the gameplay into 3 types.
The first type is chasing the main character, during which you need to carefully look around, since sometimes you won’t be able to escape and will have to outwit the enemy. For example: jump off a ledge and immediately hide under it, and the enemies will run further, etc.d.
The second type are puzzles. Everyone will determine their complexity for themselves, so now I will write exactly my impressions about them. Finding a solution is easy, what’s harder is putting it into action. A lot of puzzles are tied to timing and sometimes you just don’t have time to do what you need to do the first time. The puzzles themselves look pretty cool, and even if the solution was given to you in an easy way, it’s interesting to watch the result of solving the puzzle. For example: launch a box up and when it is at the peak of its rise, stick out a piece of wood halfway up its path so that it does not fall to the floor, but stops there. Then climb onto the piece of wood and from there launch the box even higher (Mega explained clearly).
The third type I called “Distracting the Enemy”. You need to distract the enemy who is waiting for you near the desired passage. For example: you are standing on a platform, and the platform is in the middle of a pond. You need to dive and swim to the exit, but a “mermaid” is waiting for you next to the exit 0_o, I didn’t give this creature a better name.
"Mermaid" swims to where you touch the water. The task is clear – we hang the legs from one side of the platform, the “mermaid” swims there, and while she is distracted, you run to the water, dive and swim to the exit.
And what do we have in the end?? A worthy successor to the wonderful “Limbo” with a mysterious world, unique setting and environment. During the summer lull, this project will help you spend time with interest and give you impressions that will stay with you for a long time.
