Hello to those three people who came here at such an orange hour (in honor of autumn and, perhaps, the threatening dawn) to the abode of lost meanings, for new meanings.
I have them.
Not much, but today quality > quantity, if only because I will speak and she will sing.
And I will say very little. But she sings a lot.
I would like even more, of course, but such amazingness cannot be too much. And it shouldn’t.

All our promises are lies.
They’re a little out of here. They came from another planet – although no, it’s too easy and boring.
They came from other realities in which our reality is no longer valued. Where our interests are not needed. Where our fantasies are funny. Where our meanings don’t work.
They came, started sounding and that’s it. It became quiet around. All the lights have gone out. And only a subtle melody with a charming and slightly strange female voice illuminated the space.
It’s more interesting this way.

What’s good about indie music?? I won’t answer because I’ve never listened to more than one turkey song a year, but here, as they say, I got it and got my interest. I was interested primarily in the mood (the author thinks that this is the most important thing in music).
Mood = music + voice, this is understandable; you’re welcome, your K.
Then with texts.
Then, following the tradition of checking bands for lice, I started doing live performances – and my opinion about the fact that these guys are not from here only became stronger. The female vocalist is definitely from other worlds, and their music is the guide to them. All four musicians get incredible pleasure from what they do and give this joy to the listeners.
Unfounded? As always.
But look.
And listen.

Bled to death by idle hands of time.

How long must we walk as men to be gods?
Alexa Palladino, born into a family where creativity is a way to make a living, is whose voice this is; I hope you can hear it right now.
You may know Alexa from some not the most important roles in films (of which there have been no more than 30 in 18 years of her film career) and TV series, but it doesn’t matter, because now she is an excellent singer.
Alexa said: "We want our music to make people feel something".
Alexa sang: "And you turn your back on life… Oh, to disappointments".
Alexa added: “To remind people, even ourselves, to allow ourselves to be vulnerable, to be sensitive.”.
Alexa married guitarist Devon Church on Mulholland Drive the year their first album was released.
And their band is named after a Radiohead song.
Symbolism? No, what are you thinking?.
Alexa said that while writing a song, she knows exactly when the process is going well: when she feels like she’s losing her breath because everything is trembling inside.
Alexa really loves Devon Church.
Alexa said: “The songs themselves are a little abstract, but it’s always obvious to me what emotional message they carry.”.
And, perhaps, everything is clear to the listeners too.

The hour is dying on the vine.
We’re drifting slowly in station,
and we never align.

Has anyone heard of Exitmusic before today??
They are so popular that even in the English Wikipedia only seven lines are written about them and a list of composition names is given.
Russian doesn’t have this either.
They are so socially active that their official website was abandoned a year ago, Facebook* has not been replenished for a sufficient time, and the only places that somehow show that the people in the group are alive and even sometimes do something are the infrequently updated Twitter and often Alexa’s Instagram*.
The cozy VKontakte does not have all of their compositions, although it cannot be said that there are too many of them to get confused and forget any of them.
And there’s something in it. Looking for something about them. It’s like before, when there was no Internet: I collected information bit by bit. From magazines, asked friends, dreamed of hearing on TV.
And this lack of information only fuels interest.
One “but”: there is no need to completely eliminate the deficit.
Gotta stay a little hungry.

We are sparks of light
But we hide it.

“People often say that our music is dark, but we’re not that dark people. We simply try to convey our experience of life and reality as honestly as possible. To be honest, sometimes it even scares me that most of the groups now mean exclusively fun and entertainment. After all, 3-4 wars and mass extermination of people are constantly happening around us. So the fact that everyone in the indie world is obsessed with pop music now seems a little crazy to me."

Devon Church said so.
https://expektcasino.uk/mobile-app/ />Devon Church will never jump around the stage with a guitar at the ready, artistically cutting the strings with fast, confident movements.
Devon Church is a tight, thin, collected guy, flying away into his calm worlds to the voice of his wife.
He sounds a little like his music. With only one difference: in songs, sooner or later, emotional release occurs; Devon Church always stays to himself.
Devon Church is the shadow behind Alexa’s powerful vocals.
Devon Church has no place next to the vocalist – simply because this is not his role, not his purpose in this group. Nevertheless, in the composition “The Decline of the West” his voice sounds extremely convincing.
Devon Church stays off stage. We know him only from clips, covers and photographs.
But without Devon Church and his image, it’s difficult to perceive Exitmusic’s music as something holistic.
Husband and wife are one Satan.

I’m waiting for waves now to wash us away, For the wind to unearth us And laugh in our face… Hallelujah! Hallelujah.
This is how they are.
Alexa and Devon, loving husband and wife.
And their music is about warm love and piercing sadness. Very fair, life set.

Later they were joined by the unearthly beauty of drummer Drew-always-in-black-robes-Prentiss and keyboardist-electronics-tablet player Nicholas Shelestak, who can be seen in the video below.

Music from other dimensions.
A voice reminding us that we are still sensitive. And sensual.
A mixture of sounds that at first you can’t understand with your head – and then you still don’t need to.
As with any great music, you can relax and enjoy the pleasure that music is sure to provide.

Fear the faceless.

And so,
How long must I await you
And the sun
That won’t come out?

I carried the word, And the word made me cold, And the way that it caught on it made it all wrong And it’s solitude! Ohhhh, ohhhh.

We waded in trouble and came into love, And the word that was said and created Was HA-HA-HA-horror!
